Happy Star Wars day. Thankfully we don’t get storms like they do on Jakku, but it never hurts to be ready, like our volunteers, who are ready for anything 🧡

Today, our crew are channelling their inner Jedi by practicing their lightsaber skills.

Orange is one of the rarest lightsaber colours in the Star Wars universe, often associated with those who are bold, creative and not afraid to forge their own path. 🧡

Thanks to Campaspe parkrun for hosting us today to raise awareness of storm and flood preparedness. Buster (in the stretcher) had a great time and is hoping to beat his PB at Lancefield parkrun on 23rd May 🧡

Our unit has had a busy day with 19 requests for assistance, mostly for trees down with the high winds. Thanks to our members who volunteer their time to make sure our community is safe. 🧡
