A special moment for some of our Kindy students, who were featured in the Illawarra Mercury.

How is it already June?! While it may seem like the year has already half flown by, the Mercury is choosing to hit pause and celebrate a huge educational milestone.

It's the first year of school for some of the Illawarra's smallest residents and to celebrate the fact that they've already completed a few months of kindy, the Mercury has curated its first edition of Big Steps for Little Feet.

Gadhu enjoyed a hands-on mathematics lesson exploring the properties of 3D shapes. Students investigated faces, edges and vertices, using concrete materials to build understanding through inquiry and discussion. 💠😁

Our first iCreate session was a great success! Year 6 leaders did an outstanding job coordinating and guiding their groups as students began creating artworks for display at the Scarborough Art Show. We are looking forward to seeing their projects develop over the coming weeks.
