**** Congratulations Abbey *****

Today we were able to celebrate with Abbey on the completion and graduation of her Cert I in Business.

Abbey's placement has seen her work with both the Tourism and Communities for Children teams, learning how different and yet similar the projects are. Ensuring our region is identified as a great place to visit AND an even better place to live takes a lot of hard work (and it's often invisible). Abbey has shown that she has the perfect blend of 'go go go' and 'crazy' to cope with the constantly changing environments that G.A.P.D.L operate in.

We encourage anyone looking for trainee staff to connect with Apprentices and Trainees Queensland to see if they have the right fit for your situation.

Our favourite part of any day is welcoming visitors into programs at the Nutchee Building, but as we head into cooler weather we'd like to share a gentle reminder that colds and flus aren't fun for anyone 🤧

If you or your child are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, please stay home and rest. When it comes to germs, sharing isn't caring.

This week the GAPDL CfC staff are attending the Family & Relationship Services Australia conference in Brisbane. Today we delved into ways to Measure, Evaluate & Learn (MEL) about the impact child and family programs, from the participants perspective.
It’s important that we hear from our community about what YOU need and how we can help to provide programs that support those needs.

Meet Emm. In this video you’ll hear them talk about the five key things you can do to support your children’s mental health.
