Friending Staff on Facebook

Please note that the Department of Education and Communities has this advice for teachers 'Friending' parents on Facebook:

"The line between your professional and personal life could become blurred making it difficult to manage your professional relationship with the parents when that becomes necessary. You also need to bear in mind that becoming a Facebook friend with a parent could result in their children getting access to your account as well. You also need to be mindful that you need to be careful what you say on Facebook if you have parents as friends as comments made online can be misunderstood and could result in parental complaints made to your principal." In short, please do not ask to friend a member of staff on Facebook as refusal often offends. General information

It’s Cake Decorating Day for the show today!

Mrs Jessup, Mrs Mayger and our talented students have a busy day ahead as they put the finishing touches on their cake creations for the show.

We can’t wait to see the amazing designs and creativity on display. Good luck!

K–2 students have been enjoying their gymnastics sessions every Thursday in the hall!

They have been learning new skills, building confidence, improving coordination and balance, and most importantly, having lots of fun along the way.

It’s wonderful to see our students challenging themselves, supporting one another, and celebrating their achievements each week. Well done, K–2!

During health lessons, 1/2 Lucerne have been learning about safe choices and good communication skills. To put these skills into practice we played keepy-uppy and worked in teams to complete puzzles. Kind and respectful communication (verbal and non-verbal) made these challenges easier to face and more fun!
