It was great to be part of the Gindaymanha Sports Carnival in Albury, supporting a day that brought young people together through sport, fun and community connection.

Our Albury team had a great time handing out popcorn and fairy-floss, and being part of such a positive local event. Thanks to everyone involved in making it a great day for local young people and families.

🌸 Share the Dignity Bags Available Now! 🌸

Mission Australia Wagga Wagga has been blessed with a generous donation of Share the Dignity bags, and we’re excited to make them available to anyone in our community who needs a little extra support.

These bags are filled with essential personal care items and a whole lot of kindness. 💗

If you or someone you know could benefit, please feel welcome to drop into our front foyer during business hours and collect a bag—no questions asked. Please only take one per person to ensure our whole community can benefit from this great initiative.

A huge thank‑you to Share the Dignity and our amazing local donors for helping us support women, girls, and people in need across our community. 💕

On 06/02/2026, Mission Australia Family Preservation Griffith attended the Safe Haven Open Day. The day commenced with a Smoking Ceremony delivered by Alan Mackenzie, providing a powerful and grounding welcome for all in attendance. We were also honoured to hear Auntie Pansy Williams’ Welcome to Country, which reinforced the importance of cultural connection, respect, and community.

Mission Australia staff were warmly welcomed into the space and invited to tour the centre. They participated in activities including the message board and thumbprint tree, creating opportunities for connection and shared reflection. Engagement with the Safe Haven mental health team allowed for meaningful conversations, strengthening relationships and highlighting a shared commitment to supporting community wellbeing.

We are deeply grateful for the warm and generous welcome extended to Mission Australia. Being invited into the space and welcomed so openly made the day a meaningful and culturally enriching experience. We sincerely thank Safe Haven and all involved for their hospitality, respect, and commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for community and service partners.”
