Last week, we had the chance to hear from Angus Taylor MP and his message was clear; the Liberal Party is getting back to its core values and fighting for hardworking Australians again. 💪

He spoke strongly about the pressures families, small businesses, and young Australians are facing right now, particularly with rising taxes, housing affordability, energy costs, and cost of living pressures. He argued that too many Australians feel like they’re working harder for less, while aspiration and opportunity are becoming harder to achieve.

A big focus of the speech was restoring fairness and opportunity, supporting small business, tackling the housing crisis by linking migration to housing supply, reducing red tape, and bringing energy prices down by scrapping what he described as Labor’s “energy madness”.

What stood out most was the focus on national pride and optimism for Australia’s future. Angus spoke about believing in Australia again, backing people who work hard, rewarding aspiration, and encouraging more Australians to get involved and fight for the country they want to leave to the next generation.

There’s clearly a renewed energy building within the Liberal Party, and with strong voices like Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price and Senator Leah Blyth alongside him, the team is starting to reconnect with the values many Australians still believe in.

It was fantastic to hear from Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price in Adelaide last Wednesday night. Her message was one of resilience, optimism and backing everyday Australians who are doing it tough.

Senator Price spoke passionately about the importance of strong leadership under Angus Taylor, supporting families, standing up for small business, and restoring confidence in the future of our country. Drawing on her own experience as a small business owner, she highlighted the vital role small businesses play in keeping communities alive, employing locals, supporting families, sponsoring local sport, and giving young Australians their first opportunities.

She also spoke about the pressures Australians are facing with rising energy costs, fuel insecurity and cost-of-living pressures, while reinforcing the need for practical solutions, economic responsibility and policies that put Australians first.

One of the strongest themes of the night was pride in Australia, pride in who we are, our values, our communities and ensuring the next generation grows up believing in this country and its future.

A warm, energetic and passionate address that clearly resonated with the crowd here in South Australia.
