In Home Care Support Agency In Home Care (IHC), is a Government program of subsidised childcare which is available to families who cannot use another type of mainstream childcare.

We support families needing In Home Care and the services which provide it in NSW, ACT, SA and TAS The In Home Care Support Agency (NSW, ACT, SA & TA) role is to be the initial point of contact between families and In Home Care services. We match families to approved In Home Care service providers with educators who provide quality In Home Early Childhood Education and Care across NSW, ACT, SA & T

AS. We advocate and support families to access all child care options including In Home Care, that supports the family’s individual situation. We are part of the NSW Family Day Care Association (NSWFDCA), a not for profit organisation that has been supporting the childcare profession since 1976.

The first of over 30 amendments to the Children (Education and Care Services) National Law (NSW) have now taken effect, including:

➡️making the rights and best interests of children the paramount consideration in all decisions
➡️increasing transparency for families
➡️expanding the number of offences for which fines apply
➡️tripling the maximum monetary penalty amounts for every offence – even more for large providers.

The reforms strengthen protections for every child in education and care (ECEC) in NSW.
