✔️ Do you live within a few kilometres of bushland?
✔️ Does your local area have a history of bushfire?
✔️ Do you have trees and shrubs within 20 metres of your home?
✔️ Do you live along the coast near scrub?
✔️ Do you live on a farm or near paddocks?
✔️ Do you travel through the bush to get home every day?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are at a heightened risk of bushfire. It’s time to get prepared.

Our team was proud to participate in the Brisbane City Council Emergency Services Expo last Saturday, joining emergency services, community organisations and the Brisbane community for a day focused on preparedness, resilience and community connection.

Coinciding with Get Ready Queensland Week, the Expo provided a great opportunity to encourage Queenslanders to take simple steps to prepare for severe weather, natural disasters and other emergencies. Our team enjoyed sharing information about disaster preparedness, recovery support services and the assistance available before, during and after an event.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to have a chat, ask questions and learn more about our services.

Working together, we can create safer and more resilient Queensland communities.
