Fire and Rescue NSW Station 470 Toukley Serving the community of Toukley and surrounding suburbs since 1971. This is the official page for FRNSW Toukley Fire Station.

We have served the greater Toukley area since opening in 1971 against fire & rescue, HAZMAT and many other emergencies. We attend approximately 400 emergency calls per year, with our area covering the suburbs of Norah Head, Noraville, Toukley and Gorokan. Thanks to our amazing community for coming to visit us on our Open Day yesterday! Was a huge success and we loved it. Congratulations to our winners of the massive watermelon and amazing meat tray, both kindly donated by our amazing local butcher and fruit shop Forest Fruit Market Toukley. Thanks to our local the Ary sub branch for running the BBQ!

Here’s a sneak peak of the PAT test that new recruits will have to take on!! If you’ve got what it takes applications are still open for paid on-call positions at Toukley 470.

If you’re ready to challenge yourself and be prepared for anything come chat to the team tomorrow at our information sessions that will run at 10am and 6:30pm.

Before the sun rises, we remember.
Our ranks have long been shaped by military service. Firefighters who served in the World Wars, and in the conflicts and humanitarian crises since. The skills, the discipline, and the Anzac spirit carry across. Many never returned. Their names, and their sacrifice, are part of who we are. It is a connection that runs between our service and theirs, and one that continues to this day.

You may have seen a big FRNSW semi truck parked outside our station last night!? Wondering why or what that is?

Our crew was very busy last night completing our BA refresher. This semi truck is a training vehicle, which is equipped with a fire simulation in which we can train and refresh our most important skills. Prepared for anything! 🔥
