Are you a member of the Tomakin Community Association? Do you want help make a difference in the Tomakin community? The Tomakin Community Association (TCA) is a small group of dedicated residents and property owners in Tomakin who provide a strong voice to the Eurobodalla Shire Council and the NSW Government to ensure our beaches, parks and local facilities are maintained and improved. TCA also se
eks government funding and conducts fundraising activities to support new projects. Some of our achievements over recent years include:
- mosaics on the amenities block and new picnic settings at the main entrance to Tomakin Beach
- upgraded intersection at George Bass Drive and Ainslie Parade
- partnered with Rally for Recovery on the Tomakin Community Hall car park upgrades
- ugrades to the Tomakin Community Hall
- publishing the book 'Tomakin - The Undiscovered History'
- new bench seats at Barlings Beach car park and Tomakin Cove
- in partnership with Tomakin Fishing Club, new boat ramp and car park upgrades to the Tomakin boat ramp area
- partial completion of the pathway between Tomakin and The Moorings
- new picnic settings, play equipment and exercise obstacle course at Jack Buckley Memorial Park
- upgraded information sign and safety wiring at Melville Point, and
- reduction of speed limit along George Bass Drive. TCA produces quarterly newsletters which are distributed to every household in Tomakin. At only $5 for new TCA Membership and an annual TCA membership renewal subscription of $5, you are supporting the needs of our local Tomakin community. Your membership fees will help TCA with current projects and will make a difference! We hold meetings every few months on a Thursday evening at the Tomakin Sports and Social Club. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend and to be active community members. Keep an eye on Facebook or newsletters for upcoming meetings.
