What a fantastic result for MARS Building Pty Ltd at the Hia Hunter Women in Building Awards!
A huge congratulations to our incredible Office Manager, Liz Powell, who was named the 2026 Administration Executive Award Winner. This prestigious achievement is a reflection of Liz’s dedication, professionalism, leadership, and the invaluable contribution she makes to our business every day.
We would also like to recognise Liz Gladys, who was named a finalist in the same category. Being selected as a finalist is an outstanding accomplishment and a testament to the hard work, commitment, and passion she brings to MARS Building.

💙 Looking Out for Our Mates at Sovereign Hill 💙

On Tuesday, we were proud to welcome MATES in Construction back to our Sovereign Hills site for the second time since construction commenced.

The General Awareness Training session attracted a record 66 participants, demonstrating the strong commitment from our team and subcontractors to creating a supportive and mentally healthy workplace.

Even more encouraging was seeing 15 volunteers put their hands up to complete Connector Training, equipping themselves with the skills to recognise when a mate might be struggling and connect them with the right support.

A huge thank you to Chris from MATES in Construction for delivering another fantastic session, and to Liz for organising the event and helping make it such a success.

Following our recent announcement of Kado Coffs Harbour, MARS Building is pleased to confirm that contracts have been signed and construction has commenced at Kado Anna Bay.

Located on Gan Gan Road, this project will deliver a 32-residence development with associated site works, infrastructure and landscaping.

Designed to support long-term performance and occupant wellbeing, the development will also incorporate integrated wellness spaces, including features such as salt therapy rooms and other specialised amenities.

The render attached provides an early look at what’s to come, with works now underway on site as we begin bringing this project to life.

We’re proud to continue our partnership with Kado Group and look forward to driving construction through to completion.

☕ Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea at MARS Building ☕

Yesterday, we held our Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea at the office in support of a fantastic cause.

A huge thank you to the team at Harvey Norman for assisting us with hosting the event and for providing the delicious BBQ bacon & egg rolls — they went down a treat, especially in the cooler weather! 🥓🍳

We’re proud to share that the MARS Building team ended up raising an amazing $659, with all funds going towards supporting those impacted by cancer 💛

Welcome Kado Coffs Harbour 👷‍♂️🏗️

A little delayed, but we’re proud to officially welcome Kado Residences Coffs Harbour to the MARS Building portfolio.
Construction commenced a few months ago, with piling works now complete – marking a key milestone as this exciting project begins to take shape on the NSW North Coast.

Delivered for our client, Kado Group, this boutique development will bring a new standard of wellness-focused, luxury retirement living to Coffs Harbour. Designed as an exclusive and intimate community, the project will feature a limited collection of thoughtfully designed residences, centred around lifestyle, wellbeing, and coastal living.

We look forward to continuing progress on site and sharing more milestones as we bring this vision to life.
