💃✨ The 2026 NSW Public Schools State Dance Festival, Convergence, is almost here!

Celebrating the creativity, talent and passion of more than 1,500 public school students from Kindergarten to Year 12, the festival showcases outstanding choreographed works from local dance festivals across NSW.

With 5 unique programs across 5 spectacular evening performances, Convergence is set to light up the stage! 🌟

📸 Featured here are students from John Palmer Public School in Years 1 and 2 who will be performing Rock Lobster, a catchy and energetic dance capturing the fun of a day at the beach! 🦞🏖️

1C are enjoying Term 3 so far!

We have been productive in our reading groups, building our confidence and developing our reading skills. We have also been learning about words with the ‘mm’ sound and exploring rhyming words.

In Music, 1C have been working collaboratively with our peers to create our very own beats. We also had lots of fun making our own musical instruments using recycled materials!

We look forward to all the exciting learning and experiences still to come for the rest of Term 3!
