Yesterday, our 56th Annual Club Presentation took place at the West Pymble Bicentennial Club — a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our swimmers this season and recognise the many people who make our club possible.

We would also like to thank our coaches, volunteers and officials who work tirelessly behind the scenes, at meets and throughout the season to support our swimmers and club community.

A special thank you as well to our guests and presenters: Mayor of Ku-ring-gai Christine Kay, founding and Life Member Michael Macourt, Life Members Bill McIntosh, Heidi Roche and Alison Gladen, as well as former club member and NSW swimmer Nicholas Gladen for presenting awards during the afternoon.

A sincere thank you to the West Pymble Bicentennial Club for hosting our presentation afternoon.
Congratulations to all trophy recipients on a fantastic season. Enjoy the well-earned break, and we look forward to seeing everyone back for another great season ahead.

Please join us for our Annual Presentation Day on Sunday 17th May at 3pm at West Pymble Bicentennial Club.

It’s a great opportunity to come together and celebrate the season. There will be plenty of space for the kids to play and spend time together afterwards, and we hope families can stay on for dinner and enjoy a relaxed evening at the Bowling Club.

For families newer to the club, we focus on recognising all our young swimmers at all current stages of their swimming.

A slightly belated post to recognise Alex and Lucy representing our Club at national level.

These photos were taken at our Club Championships, when our Club President James and Coach Ryan presented them with their National KASC caps ahead of their events (28th March).

Alex has already competed at the 2026 Australian Open Championships this week, and Lucy will be racing next week at the 2026 Australian Age Championships on the Gold Coast — we wish her all the best.

A great afternoon at our Club Championships on 28th March.

We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a relaxed meet with plenty of racing, PBs, medals, and a well-earned BBQ in between sessions.

A special moment during the afternoon saw our Club President and Coach present National KASC caps to Alex (Australian Open Championships) and Lucy (Australian Age Championships), who will be representing the Club on the Gold Coast this April. We wish them both the very best.

Thank you to everyone who made the day run so smoothly — Heidi (Referee), Andrew (Starter), Dan (JOS), our BBQ crew, and all the volunteers supporting marshalling, timekeeping, and photography. These events simply don’t happen without you.

More photos to follow in the next newsletter.

A bit late to the blocks on this one — apologies we didn’t get these up sooner.

Here are a few snaps from the 2026 Speedo NSW Youth State Age Championships back in March. A great meet for the Ku-Ring-Gai team, with plenty of PBs across the board and some strong swims to match.

More updates and highlights will be shared in the next newsletter.

We’re proud to reshare this article from Swimming NSW featuring Swimming NSW President Graeme Field — a familiar and much-valued face in our club.

Graeme has been part of our club community for many years, serving in many roles along the way, including multiple terms as Club President, as a referee, and as one of those people who is always there when help is needed.

For many of our newer members, this is a great chance to learn a little more about someone who has contributed so much to our club over the years.

Thank you, Graeme, for everything you have done — and continue to do — for our swimmers, families and club community.
