For some children, the journey to healing begins with a flight. ✈️💛

In Guinea, MAF is privileged to fly children and their mothers to N’Zao Hospital, where life-changing surgery offers hope for those living with facial malformations and other complex conditions.

This short video is a reminder that access to healthcare can transform a child's future and that sometimes the road to healing starts in the air.

🎉 Praise God, we’ve raised $57,000 towards ending the wait... but we still need your help.

Thanks to your generosity and the incredible support of our Match Fund partners, we've successfully unlocked the full $57,000 Match Fund Challenge for MAF's End the Wait Appeal.

Every dollar donated was doubled, helping bring us one step closer to aircraft that can reach people in Timor-Leste and Arnhem Land when every minute matters.

But the mission isn't over yet.

Our overall goal is $395,000, and we're still working to raise the remaining funds needed to help equip aircraft that can overcome the barriers of distance, weather and fading daylight.

For more than two decades, Lilian lived with the effects of an obstetric fistula, facing isolation, loss, and unimaginable challenges. Yet through it all, she never lost hope.

This week, we're celebrating a fresh chapter in Lilian's story. Thanks to an MAF flight, she was able to travel to receive life-changing surgery - bringing the possibility of healing, restored dignity, and a brighter future. ✈️

“I feel the trauma and bad feelings are reducing because of the care I have received,” Lilian shared.

Stories like Lilian's remind us that sometimes hope arrives one flight at a time.

For ministry leader Justin Robaye, reaching remote communities in eastern Chad would normally require a three-day journey by road through difficult and sometimes unsafe conditions. With MAF, the same journey takes just three hours. ✈️

Justin uses MAF flights to train church planters, equip Christian leaders, and support missionaries serving among unreached people groups across the region. What began as a calling from God more than 30 years ago has grown into a ministry dedicated to sharing God's Word and raising up disciples.

“MAF flights are fast and secure. They make our work easier and allow us to accomplish our mission more quickly,” Justin says.

In Madagascar, access to surgery is often limited, not because people don't need it, but because there simply aren't enough trained surgeons.

That's why a recent MAF flight to Mandritsara was so important. By flying in a team from the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS), a first-ever accreditation visit could take place at Good News Hospital, helping equip and support the next generation of compassionate Christian surgeons. ✈️

“Without the possibility of flying to Mandritsara, we would not have come,” said PAACS Executive Vice President, Keir Thelander. “We simply could not afford the days of travel by road.”

In a country with an estimated 0.3 surgeons per 100,000 people, investing in training today means more patients will have access to life-saving care tomorrow. 💛

Meet Ping Domtta, MAF pilot and Country Director in Timor-Leste.

Every day, Ping and his team help extend the national ambulance service to some of the country's most isolated communities. But during the wet season, poor visibility and fading daylight can leave pilots grounded and patients waiting.

In this short video, Ping explains how the refurbishment of P2-MAG could help change that by enabling safer flights in challenging conditions and opening the door to future night operations.

In remote communities across Timor-Leste and Arnhem Land, a long journey to hospital can mean hours on rough roads, dangerous conditions, or no access at all when disaster strikes.

This End of Financial Year, you can help MAF end the wait.

We're preparing two aircraft for new life-saving missions:
✈️ P2-MAG will serve as an Air Ambulance in Timor-Leste.
✈️ P2-MAH will support disaster response, domestic violence evacuation, and education flights in Arnhem Land.
