We are thrilled to celebrate an incredible achievement by one of our talented teachers!

Ms. Hijazi’s short story, Look, has been awarded the 2026 Booranga Literary Prize for Prose! 👏

Her winning story has also been published in fourW, one of Australia’s longest-running annual anthologies featuring new poetry and prose from Australian and international writers.

As part of this wonderful achievement, Ms. Hijazi was invited to the Sydney launch at Gleebooks on 6 September, where she had the opportunity to read an excerpt from her story to an audience of fellow writers and literary enthusiasts.

We are so proud to see the creativity and talent of our staff celebrated on the literary stage. What an amazing accomplishment, Ms. Hijazi! 💚💛

Book Week Celebrations!

What a fantastic week of celebrating books, reading and imagination! Our students enjoyed a range of fun activities throughout the week as well as a Year 12 and Teacher Character Dress Up!
