We need regular Police foot patrols in Pittwater. Time to reign in the ferals.

So many people on the Northern Beaches are struggling with their mental health.

This includes the young.

HEADSPACE is there to provide our 12 to 25 year olds early intervention mental health services.

What about the Mona Vale Place Plan? Apparently Northern Beaches Council have shelved it till next year. It will be over 12 years since the Mona Vale Place Plan was first mooted by the former Pittwater Council, a bloody long time. Meanwhile Mona Vale is floundering under the weight of development application for what may well earn the title the Chris Minns Towers. Sorry Max Delmege, Chris Minns wants to wear the crown. Yes SSDs or State Significant Developments are flooding in. Imagine a 12 storey building opposite the Delmage Building on Mona Vale Road. This is how it could possibly look towering over the adjacent retirement village and the nearby Rocklily. (AI has a pretty good imagination). I say help us and join SOS Mona Vale - Save Our Suburb and join the Rally on Mona Vale on 25 July at midday.

Will the Wakehurst Parkway continue to flood? Yes it will but the experts say maybe only a few times a year.

Here is some history about the lack of real concerns by former Pittwater and Wakehurst MPs, Stokes and Hazzard. The current spending ‘spree’ of a long promised $85.1 M and the $35.1M (was $18.1M) will not deliver a permanent flooding solution or provide a raised road especially over The Bends. The community should not get too excited despite all the political fanfare. We have a long long long way to go. Mark Horton

The name of this page has been changed to Northern Beaches Forum to align with the private group page of the same name (NORTHERN BEACHES FORUM). There is no need for that private page to remain private, but Meta has made the change difficult. The private page has a bigger following. Merging the pages seems a good move. One big voice is my aim.
