Hello North West mob,
As we head into this final week of voting, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it truly means to represent you. While I have my own deep connections to our Country and my own views on our future, I know that being a representative means carrying the weight of your stories and your visions above all else.
I’m standing for the North West because I believe our mob deserves a voice in Melbourne that is a true reflection of the people in the North West. In Treaty negotiations, my role isn't to speak for myself, but to mimic the needs, the pride and the priorities of our community. Whether we are talking about the health of our rivers or the education of our children, I am here to be the bridge that carries your message to the table.
Our ancestors taught us that our strength comes from our unity and our connection to one another. Today, we have the chance to turn that connection into real power.
If you haven’t had the chance to vote yet, I ask you to take a moment this week to make your mark. Our strength is in our numbers, and our future is shaped by every single one of us standing together. Let’s make sure the North West is heard, loud and clear.
Let’s do this for our mob and the generations to come.
