LIVE ON STAGE – THIS THURSDAY!
Get ready for a huge night of live music as our talented Meridan performers take to the stage for Live On Stage 2026!
Expect bands, soloists, crowd favourites and plenty of energy as our students showcase the music they have been working so hard to prepare.

Prepaid tickets will be distributed to students at school on Thursday, or they can be collected from the door before the show.

Supporting the Businesses That Support Us 💙

Meridan State College P&C has successfully moved our banking to Bendigo Bank, and we are thrilled to begin this new partnership with a bank that shares our commitment to supporting our school and local community.

We are incredibly grateful to Bendigo Bank for their generous sponsorship towards our new electronic school sign, which is already making a wonderful difference to our school.

We have also introduced a new Tyro EFTPOS machine, helping to make our P&C transactions faster, easier and more efficient.

On Wednesday our singers and dancers took to the stage for our annual Arts Wellbeing Assembly, sharing their incredible talent, energy and passion with the College. A huge highlight was having our Primary dancers. We loved seeing our younger dancers on stage!

Our Kids in Action team are busy this week getting ready to share our One Night for Wildlife campaign at the Sunshine Coast Council's Kids in Action Conference next week. We are calling on our community to get involved on Thursday the 17th September to be part of One Night for Wildlife where we are asking you to switch off outside lights, step outside and connect with nature and spot wildlife. Please like and share this post to get others to be part of the night.

An incredible day for our Italian students at the Speech Competition!

On Sunday, our talented Italian students took to the stage at the university to compete in the Italian Speech Competition, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements.
We came home with so many awards!

While we are thrilled to celebrate these fantastic results, the biggest achievement was seeing every single one of our students get up on stage and give it their best.

Speaking in Italian in front of an audience at a university competition takes courage, preparation and confidence. Every student stepped outside their comfort zone, and every student came away a winner. They should all be incredibly proud of themselves.
