⚠️ Unpaid Work Case Resolved – Community Alert

A newly arrived student in Adelaide worked a trial shift at a business and was paid, but wasn’t paid for another shift he worked later. After waiting over 3 weeks, he shared his issue on social media.

The Nepalese Alliance of South Australia (NASA) reached out, contacted the business manager of Hotel, and helped the student email payroll CC’ing NASA for support. Within 2 emails, the student received his full payment.

👉 If you ever face non-payment or unpaid work, remember:

Intentional non-payment of wages is a crime under Australian law.

You can reach out to your workers union, Fair Work, or NASA for help and advice.
