Wendy L Curtis was born in Launceston, Tasmania -- the Southern island state of Australia (Yep, down under Down Under). She also spent many years with a young family in the rugged West Coast mining township of Zeehan and some working years in the world-renowned tourist destination of Strahan. s loved to read, devouring books like the Nancy Drew mysteries, Enid Blyton, C.S Lewis, and culminating in The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings trilogy at the age of 12 (LOTR are still her fave movies) the power of words was not lost on her even at a young age. Yet family life took precedence until 10 years ago when she decided writing would be her career, and writing romance her passion. After another writing hiatus because of life, Wendy now has her debut title, Above and Beyond, published in digital format by Harlequin Escape Publishing. With many more story ideas to be developed, Wendy knows her unique Aussie voice has found the right home with Escape and looks forward to many more releases.
