Congratulations to Emily, who this week has been named to represent Australia in the Archery-World Field Championships in the USA in September/October 2026.

We know how much work and dedication has gone in to this achievement over a number of years, and how hard you work to juggle school and sporting commitments.

Our Stage 4 English students participated in a wonderful performance this afternoon by the team from the educational theatre group Poetry in Action, titled “Rhyme Battle Royale”.
The students laughed and learned as this dynamic troupe challenged their thinking in regard to the creativity and power of words.

Our Yr9 HPGE Maths students have had another fabulous day of learning completing their Maths in Advance Manufacturing TAFE microcredential today. Their learning was deep and extended them across the full length of the program. A special mention from our students and staff to Albert from TAFE NSW -our students loved working with you and the way you extended them through their application of knowledge to real world situations.

Today Year 7 Applied had an amazing partnered learning experience with Dr Michelle from Western Sydney U - Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment. Dr Michelle and her team are an integral part of our Water and the World unit, sharing their amazing research linked to platypus in the Hawkesbury Nepean Catchment. Dr Michelle’s team are not only amazing researchers, but they are also fabulous educators and link our young people to the important work of the Hawkesbury-Nepean Waterkeeper Alliance. The Centre values our belonging to the Alliance and the important links this brings to our students understanding of their world, their learning and ways they can action their own responses to this research.

We will share in the comments a video of the important work Dr Michelle’s team are doing with an example from last night. Last night, like many nights they were out conducting research before returning to campus to teach our kids-Thankyou Dr Michelle !!!!

Our Prelim Ag students have had another great day of learning in the Gwydir Valley connected to vertically integrated orange production and pecans. The integration of technology, strategic management planning, market opportunities and integrated pest management key themes for the day. Another day when our industry partners have provided ongoing support to our learning programs.

Our young people are also proving to be great chefs- feedback has been that their breakfasts and dinners have been great. We also have received amazing feedback about how polite and considerate they have been in community.
