Are you sleeping well?

If the answer is no, our Sleep Optimisation for Military and Emergency Resonders online course is for you.

Sleep is a fundamental part of human life and getting enough good quality sleep is essential to being the best version of ourselves.

That said, few of us are paying close attention to our sleep and making a habit of doing the things that we know can optimise our sleep. This is particularly important for high-consequence roles such as military and emergency responders, who we know suffer from higher rates of sleep disorders and sleep deprivation due to some of the unique stressors of their roles.

Sleep deprivation in these roles has been linked with factors including increased workplace accidents, increased inappropriate use of force in policing and military, impaired moral reasoning, and worse performance in medical tasks in healthcare professionals.

The Aussie Frontline Youtube channel has a free video explaining some key components to getting good sleep and the things we can be doing on a day-to-day basis to optimise our sleep in order to turn up to work the best and safest version of ourselves.

For a more in depth experience, check out our online course, which you will find on our website (link in bio)

The course consists of 2.5 hours of information to help you sleep better, delivered by .

If you recently resppnded to our call for Pay it Forward (PIF) nominators and submitted a nomination, your packages have now been completed and are on their way out 🛫 (some went out yesterday and the remainder will head out Monday morning).

The days where we could only fulfill a limited number of the nominations we received have gone. We now manage to fulfill every single nomination we receuve thanks to our incredible community who continue to regularly sponsor shirts for this program.

The PIF shirt sponsors that were allocated to the most recent round of nominators will be notified this week via email that their shirt finally found a home 🏡

Thanks for continuing the cycle of kindness and support 👊

If you would like to be a sponsor and grab a shirt for someone you don't know, who could use a bit of support, encouragement or acknowledgement, jump on our website and look for the Pay it Forward. You'll also find a dedicated page to the PIF program so you can read what it's all about and how it works ✌

📩 FROM THE INBOX 📩

Thanks for sending these through legend! It's always special when managers get on board to promote unity, positive culture and destigmatisation of speaking up if you're struggling.

One team. One family.

For those new to our page, $10 from every shirt is deposited in our 'Counselling pool'. From this pool we fund counselling sessions with the best Counsellor we know, .newlands (who's an ex cop) for members who are ready for some professional help managing what's going on upstairs.

No bosses, no internal employee assistance programs, no GP's, no 3 month wait lists, no clinicians that have never walked a day in the shoes of an emergency responder, no judgement, no cost.

Straight up, good old fashioned Aussie Frontline help ❤💙💚🤍

One of our QPS sisters out on the range representing the wider emergency responder and military community 👊

Your shirt purchase not only lets us all know that you stand for unity and intra service support, it also helped someone get some much needed professional help to improve their MH.

A member of the Aussie Frontline community reached out via DM's two nights ago. It was the kind of message that signalled that the author was struggling, and at a particularly low point at the moment they pressed 'send' on that message.

We touched base with the author, who revealed that they were a long time operational member within NSWPOL and have been struggling with their MH. They have already engaged with other professionals but have not been able to make any significant progress, progress they desperately want to make, not only for them but for their family.

We offered them a counselling package with .newlands and they gratefully accepted. We connected them with Matty and the ball is rolling.

I truly hope it helps and I'm proud of this person for reaching out, speaking up about where they are at and for accepting help graciously.

Never be sorry for asking for help if you need it legends.

To all who have bought our Aussie Frontline tees; this is where 25% of your money is going - back into our community.

One team. One family.

*I have the blessing of the person mentioned to post this*

⚡NOMINATION CALL⚡

It's only been 11 days since we last paid it forward, and thanks to legendary sponsors we're Paying it Forward again.

For those new to this page, this is how our Pay it Forward system works;

1) Community members bag Pay it Forward tee's in the shop.

2) Periodic nomination call via Instagram Story.

3) Community members (Aka legends) nominate a struggling mate or colleague who they'd like to support.

4) Aussie Frontline sends a shirt and personal note (note from AF and note from the nominator)

5) The unsuspecting recipient receives the package.

6) Every time the recipient wears the shirt they are reminded of the community that surrounds and supports them.

7) The original sponsor is informed where their shirt ended up (no names - just location and service).

It's an epic cycle of support and kindness.

We have a bunch of shirts that have been sponsored by community members ready to go to new homes.

⚡NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN VIA INSTA STORY FOR 24 HOURS⚡
