As we close out Reconciliation Week, we want to spotlight our First Nations Advisory Council and the incredible work they’re doing to celebrate and embed culture within the Y NSW Youth Parliament, far beyond just this week.
 
We stand proudly beside these young leaders and the impact they are creating, and we’re excited to continue learning, growing, and walking forward together in this space. 🖤💛❤️

This National Reconciliation Week, the theme ‘All In’ is a call for all Australians to commit to Reconciliation wholeheartedly. At The Y NSW Youth Parliament, we work to include First Nations voices in everything we do, and ensure that First Nations people are meaningfully represented.

It’s National Volunteer Week! We adore our taskforce volunteers and we think the work they do to support young people through our program is pretty incredible 🥰

Did you know that our Taskies volunteer more than 3,000 hours each year?!? From editing bills, attending portfolio meetings at all hours, running chambers, taking pictures, stuffing name tags all while juggling uni and/or work commitments.🫰🏼�

Young people showing up, speaking out, and leading the conversation 🙌

So proud to see some of our Youth MPs connecting with the Central Coast community on the issues that matter most. 

For 25 years, Youth Parliament has been all about amplifying young voices, and nights like this remind us just how powerful that is.
