Now that Labors lack of separation of powers is gone and political interference, it's time to refer the DG Merrick of Department of Environment, Science and Innovation to the PCCC Parliamentary Crime and Corruption Committee, lets see if Palaszczuk, Trad, Dick, D'Ath, Enoch and Ryan like appearing under subpoena. Looking forward to seeing Merrick look for a new job

Someone once said, “When you love someone with dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they are diagnosed, when they go through different stages, when they go into care and when they die. ‘Rapidly shrinking brain’ is how doctors describe it. As the person’s brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are. They can eventually become bedridden, unable to move and unable to eat or drink.”
There will be people who will scroll by this message because dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has fought or is fighting a battle against Dementia.
To raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would appreciate it if my friends could put this on their page for today.

Abortion figures from 2017, please remember when a baby is aborted, up to the day before natural birth and is healthy and alive, it gets put in the pan room until it dies, this can take days.....Labor Laws

When is a hospital not a hospital?
In an interview on ABC Radio on 12 August 2024 the interviewer sought the opinion of AMA Queensland President, Dr Nick Yim about the services of satellite hospitals. With regard to the term ‘hospital’ Dr Yim was asked “So do you believe then these satellite hospitals are helping or hindering thesystem?”
His response was, “I think there is a challenge. The community and the public, with the term ‘hospital’, there is an expectation that they have a full suite of services. The general public, they‘re not health professionals, they're not doctors. So when we go to a location that is termed hospital, people expect there should be the full suite of services, they have beds available, they have their specialists etc. We need communication to the public. Or alternatively, we might need to consider changing that name hospital.”
Many of us have called for the Bribie Island Satellite Hospital to be renamed to either a ‘health clinic’ or ‘health centre’ so that the public are not misled into thinking the facility has the capacity to treat major health issues, as would a hospital.
Unfortunately, politics once again comes first rather than clarity to the public as to the service limitations provided by these facilities currently termed ‘satellite hospitals’.
The new facility in Bongaree can meet the needs of minor injuries/ailments. However, the fact remains that Bribie Island residents were promised a hospital at the last election and that is not what we were given. To reduce confusion, and to potentially save lives, the facility name should reflect the services provided. END

I've personally had 000 police ring out on me trying to report a serious crime happening "right now"

I've seen 6 officers 3 police cars chase down an alleged stolen $2 corflute sign, that the judge laughed at the absolute waste of resources and dismissed the whole case, this minister need to go his portfolio is out of control.

More new recruit police resign in the first 6 months than ever before, a corrupt system and job dissatisfaction, we've even had over 100 new officers accidentally admitted, whose application files were marked never to be employed as Police...
