Our water network has performed well through previous weather events this year.

The approaching tropical cyclone may present another challenge.

While systems are currently operating normally with high levels of treated water storage, prolonged heavy rainfall may impact treatment processes and residents are encouraged to store adequate drinking water as part of cyclone preparedness.

For more information on disaster preparedness, please visit the Douglas Dashboard.
