Horrocks to the Pink Lake.
It is a natural phenomenon located near Port Gregory, Western Australia, known for its vibrant pink, red, and lilac hues. The color is caused by a type of algae, Dunaliella salina, that produces carotenoids, and the shade can change depending on the time of day and cloud cover.

Cape Burney, southern Geraldton, where the 340km length of the Greenough River runs outs into Indian Ocean.
The Greenough River was named on 8 April 1839 by the explorer George Grey.
Greenough River has its headwaters near Woojalong Hills on the Yilgarn Plateau.
The river mouth is barred from the ocean by a sandbar that breaks only in periods of strong flow.

Nannine old townsite and railway station, few goodies found, then onto Meekatharra and Peace Gorge.
Super to see Helen Ansell's art work from Mullewa !
Meekatharra also the final resting place for my Great Great uncle in 1923. It was his son that was the Green Grocer in Wiluna and Big Bell .

Big Bell, Shire of Cue !
I have much family history here, my great great uncle's son got married in Big Bell in 1949 and also ran a Grocery shop, and previously in Wiluna.
The Shire of Cue also has many photos on display in its office. Well worth popping in !
This is the 3rd time I have been to Big Bell historical townsite, always amazing but there will come a time when the old hotel will fall to absolute ruins and not exist.
I inquired at the Shire of Cue today if anything was going to be done to save it, sadly not, was told only if there was some hindsight 20 years it would've been saved.
