Winter Sports Club Forum Meeting Announcement!

On July 8th, we have a meeting scheduled to bring all our Pittwater and Narrabeen local winter sports clubs together in one room. This meeting is a unique opportunity to address the pressing issues related to playing fields and facilities.

Due to space constraints, this meeting is specifically for the leadership of all clubs. However, your input is invaluable. I encourage you to share your concerns, thoughts, and ideas with me. I'll consolidate this information and present it to the Council staff at the meeting, as part of our collective effort.

An Example of some of topics to be discussed:
• Carpark Issues
• Condition of fields
• Synthetic Fields
• Clubhouse/Change Facilities
• Scheduling
• Off-season Field Allocation

Please email me your thoughts, concern, and ideas – [email protected] highlight any current challenges, needs, or concerns—both short-term and long-term. Your input is crucial to ensure we address the needs of all our clubs effectively.

Our Goals:
• Foster open dialogue among all clubs.
• Challenge the Northern Beaches Council to be accountable.
• Develop actionable solutions to improve our sports facilities.

🚗 MONA VALE ROAD WEST NEEDS WIDENING!

👍LIKE this post if you think Council should back in the widening of Mona Vale Road West - this Tuesday, I'm calling on Council to do just that and push the State Government to reinstate the funding in its next budget.

📸 I recently caught up with Rory Amon - Member for Pittwater to speak about the big issues affecting Pittwater. One of the big ones is the Labor Government's cancellation of Mona Vale Road West. This project is essential. It is vital that Northern Beaches Council flexes its muscle to support this project and advocate for it with the State Government.

I'm Karina Page, Councillor for Pittwater Ward. It is an honour and privilege to represent you on Council, having filled the vacancy on Council following Rory Amon - Member for Pittwater's election to State Parliament.

A bit about me - I'm a lifelong local and have lived in Mona Vale with my daughter for a decade. I bring experience to the roll of Councillor:

👍 Served two terms on Manly Council from 1996 to 2004.
👍 Understanding of small business having been a small business owner and general manager.

I'm passionate about protecting our local environment, ensuring Council keeps its budget under control, enhancing local infrastructure, and much more.
