Crazy to think it’s been 12 months since I was nominated for the SADA Young Dairy Farmer of the Year Award! 🐄🥛

What started as a nomination turned into an incredible year full of opportunities, experiences and personal growth. Winning the award was a huge honour, but it’s everything that followed that has made the journey so special! 🫶🏼

Over the past year I’ve had the opportunity to share my story through articles 📰, radio interviews 🎙️, speaking engagements 🎤 and industry events. I was also fortunate to be nominated by SADA for the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award, and recently named the South Australian Winner! 🏆 To then come full circle and MC the South Australian Dairyfarmers’ Association 90th Anniversary Gala Dinner 🎉 was something I never would have imagined 12 months ago!

A massive thank you to SADA for their support, encouragement and belief in young people within our industry. One opportunity really does lead to another! ❤️

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Young Dairy Farmer of the Year Award. If you know a young dairy farmer who is passionate about our industry, encourage them to put their hand up or nominate them. It’s an incredible opportunity and you never know where the journey might lead! 🐮✨

What a fantastic morning on the farm! ☀️🐄

A special shout out to the little helper in the first photo. Full of energy, eager to learn and always ready to lend a hand on today’s tour! Oh and we can’t forget the girls loving the puddles! 💦🤠🥛

Days like today are exactly why we love sharing our farm with visitors. Seeing families get up close with the animals, ask questions, learn something new and create memories together is pretty special! 🚜🐮

Poo, Boots and Dairy Farming 💩🐄

A beautiful morning on the farm hosting a group of Year 11 and 12 students! 🥛

After a bit of rain over the past week, things were pretty pooy, so the rubber boots were definitely needed! 😁

I always enjoy hosting older students as it creates opportunities for deeper conversations, great questions and plenty of learning about life on a modern dairy farm! 🐮🌱

Definitely something in the waters in Mannum! Such an honour to be standing between two incredible women making such a positive impact on our community and beyond! ❤️❤️

Beautiful overcast morning for a Feeding Frenzy tour today ☁️🐄 A little fresh to start the day, but everyone rugged up and we still had a fun filled morning on the farm!

A very special part of today was helping celebrate a beautiful little girl’s 4th birthday surrounded by all of her family and extended family! Such a special way to celebrate! 🥳🎉

It was also so lovely to have Hayley and her family join us on the farm this morning. Pretty special to have met through the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award as fellow finalists, and now welcoming her family out to Dairy Adventures 🐄❤️

Lots of smiles, great conversations, curious questions and plenty of learning throughout the morning. Days like today remind us why we love what we do so much 🥛🌾
