Check out this koala release! 🐨 Sparrow was rescued in Cornubia Forest Park by wildlife carers as she was unwell.

She received treatment for chlamydia and thanks to the care and dedication of amazing vets, she made a wonderful recovery. An exciting discovery was made while she was in care... a tiny joey was safely tucked in her pouch!

After getting the all‑clear, Sparrow was able to return home to the wild where she belongs 🌿

Logan City Council services will be closed on Monday 4 May, for the Labour Day public holiday.

🚛 Essential services like waste collection will operate as usual.

Libraries, customer service centres, and non-essential facilities will re-open for normal operating hours on Tuesday 5 May.

This ANZAC Day, we pay our respects to all who have served in defence of our country.

Since WWI, more than 1.5 million Australians have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

This morning as the sun came up, thousands of Logan residents gathered across our city to honour their invaluable contribution.

Meet Andrew Tipping, a Kingston teacher who is quietly making a big difference for Logan’s young people.

Working at The Centre Education Programme, Andrew supports students who have disengaged from mainstream schooling, helping them build confidence and see a future beyond the classroom. He leads Furniture for Change, a student‑run project where young people learn real work skills while assembling furniture for the community in partnership with Vinnies.

Stories like Andrew’s are reminders that Logan Legends aren’t necessarily celebrities or public figures. They can be neighbours, volunteers and community builders whose impact ripples well beyond what they realise.
