'93 through to '08 was epic. I remember spending EVERY weekend for nearly two years recording amazing indie bands. It took it's toll... (I can't even remember the years!). It became Cockfight Shootout's home (for rehearsals, pre-production etc) when I joined the band in 2003. In the winter of 2010 my dear friend, Alfred,
inspired & helped me renovate the old space. We created the coolest new abode in which to create. His help & artistic expertise was, and still is, invaluable. I've gone back to basic's; and it's SO good! Less is more. (A wise Wally Meanie told me that about my drumming style years ago {took a while to sink in!} - I'll never forget that - and it is so apt as far as recording goes). So, now, I call it a "boutique" studio. I only record close friends, super fantastic bands / artists & my own material. I do it for the love, not the money, just like the good old days...
