It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Col Byatt, our much-loved former owner and manager of Leongatha Rural Supplies.
Though it has been 13 years since he and his wife Barb handed over the keys, his presence, leadership, and warmth have remained a cherished part of our story and our community’s memory here at LRS.

Col was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcomed, valued, and uplifted. His dedication, integrity, and genuine care set the foundation for what our store is today.

Many still speak of him with great gratitude and affection — a true testament to the impact he had on so many lives both personally and professionally throughout his many years operating LRS and beyond, who will be very missed.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Barb and his family and all who were fortunate enough to have known him 🤍xx
