If you sent a young girl in to drop off a parcel at 2:30 this afternoon (4/10) could you please pop in and see us asap. There is no postage paid or return address so it is unable to continue on its journey.

After a couple of incidents recently that have effected access for our mail delivery truck we feel it is important to remind everyone that this area behind the post office is a LOADING ZONE and needs to be kept clear at all times!
We have had a lot of locals using it for parking in recent weeks and while we understand that the parking situation in town has been difficult blocking our loading zone will result in severe mail delays for everyone.

‼️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

On Wednesday 17th April we will be having our new computer system installed.
From 4:30pm no computer services will be available as we will need to finalise all operations through the old system before it is deactivated at close of business. We will still be able to deliver your parcels to you and accept lodgements but we will no be able to provide you a receipt.
From 18th April we will be using the new system, please be patient with us as we may be slower than usual while we get used to it.

The October edition of the Kuranda paper is out now.
There are plenty in the box at the front door for those that are chasing one.

This cute little owl has been handed into us after being found out in the post office car park.

The September edition of the Kuranda paper is available from the front door of the post office Monday-Friday during business hours (9am-5pm).

Due to the large volume of papers ending up in the bin located at the PO Boxes, only those that receive unaddressed (Junk) mail will receive the paper in their boxes to reduce wastage.
