📣 LOGAN… WE’RE DOING IT AGAIN.
Posting, commenting and emailing all matter, but showing up in person matters too.
On Saturday 29 August, the Logan Ratepayers Association is holding another FREE open community meeting, with a big focus on Logan’s flood mapping and the real impacts it is having across our community.
We’ve got a great mix of speakers:
📣 Brett Raguse – LRA
Talking about LRA, why it was formed, what we’re working on and where we go from here.
🌧️ Natalie Taylor – LRA
Breaking down the technical side of Logan’s flood mapping and highlighting the key areas where we believe stronger community advocacy and change are still needed.
🏠 Dane Beerling – Dondex Sheds
Talking sheds, garages, carports and the very real impacts flood mapping can have on building and property owners.
🏛️ Councillor Jacob Heremaia
Talking about the issues that matter to Logan ratepayers and taking part in the broader community discussion.
And because serious council issues are always a little easier to talk about with a sausage in your hand… 🌭😂
Sausage sizzle from 1PM
Meeting starts 1:30PM
📍 Logan Square Dance Hall
161a Magnesium Drive, Crestmead
📅 Saturday 29 August
Tickets are FREE but limited to 100 people.
If you’ve been affected by flood mapping, you’re worried about what it could mean for your property, insurance, building or future plans, or you simply want to know more about what is happening, come along.
The bigger the turnout, the clearer the message that Logan residents are paying attention and want meaningful change.
