The Winter Solstice Festival is happening this Saturday, 27th June for those who may want to attend at Northey Street City Farm!!

Our Altruistic Group will be proudly sharing alongside Salt spring Healing the importance of building capacity at a grassroots level, culturally grounded land based agency.

Vanessa Clements will share her vision and dreams on decolonising her property for future growth and food sovereignty.

👉🏽Did you know that the Ipswich City Council’s Indigenous Australian Accord was official signed in 1997‼️👈🏽

🌟Yes, that will be 30years next year 🔥

It sets out commitment for access and equity of our First Nations constituents to services and supports, by local government elected representatives. The very same basic human rights afforded to all people across the local government area.

It was a pleasure for the Our Altruistic Group team members to attend the Official Launch for the Queens Park Ceremonial, Healing and Remembrance Place.

Congratulations to the everyone that was involved to see this moment arrive and to have a dedicated space to recognise our people!!

It was good day spent out at Hardings Paddock with some of the ICYS Ipswich Community Youth Service team.

When the community sector invest in upskilling their staff to complement cultural understanding and work capability, changes can occur.

The caseworkers working in the youth justice space, Pivot program, spent the day gaining current insight towards being more trauma aware.
