GREATER HUME COUNCIL INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO HELP SHAPE A MORE INCLUSIVE FUTURE

Greater Hume Council is calling on community members to have their say and help shape the region’s next Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2026–2030.

This is an important opportunity for residents to share their ideas, experiences, and suggestions to help make Greater Hume an even more inclusive, accessible, and welcoming place for everyone.

Council is encouraging people living with disability, their families and carers, service providers, community groups, and all interested residents to complete the survey and contribute their feedback.

The Disability Inclusion Action Plan helps guide Council’s work to improve access, inclusion, and participation across services, facilities, information, and community life. Feedback received through the survey will directly inform the priorities and actions included in the new plan.

Council encourages everyone to get involved and complete the survey by Wednesday, 22 July.
