MYSTERY BUS TOUR ----- 25th February 2023

The Associazione Molisana Di Tasmania together with the Italian Day Centre are inviting all present and past members and friends to join us on a mystery bus trip on Saturday 25th February 2023.

$50 p/p - bus and two course lunch is included.

Bus will departing at 8:15am sharp from Queens Walk opposite Grahams Family Funeral @ 73 Risdon Road, Newtown.

Tune in on Saturday 3rd at 5am (AEST) for an evening of opera streaming direct from Venafro, Molise via Visit Molise.

🎼 “OPERA IN MOLISE” esordisce il 2 settembre all’Anfiteatro Verlasce di Venafro. 🎼

Imperdibili ed estasianti: così promettono di essere le serate di musica che l’𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐨 𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚 e il Conservatorio di Musica Lorenzo Perosi Campobasso proporranno “fuori porta” al pubblico molisano, con il cartellone “Opera in Molise” nell’ambito del programma “Palcoscenici”.

Sarà l’Orchestra diretta dal 𝐌° 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢 ad eseguire i brani cari agli amanti della lirica, da Mozart a Puccini, da Verdi a Offenbach, da Bizet a Mascagni.

Ma si darà lustro anche a De Curtis, Di Capua, Denza e ad altri classici del repertorio napoletano.
E nemmeno gli amanti delle musiche tradizionali saranno delusi, perché è previsto l’intervento del celebre solista di zampogna 𝐏𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐜𝐢 con l’ensemble “𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐎𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐄𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚”.

Aprirà il concerto il baritono 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢 sulle note della Carmen di Bizet, per poi lasciare il palco al soprano Annalisa Ferrarini. Seguirà il mezzo soprano Silvia Pasini e il tenore Gian Luca Pasolini.

Christmas Bus Trip

Thank you to all those who participated in this event. Perfect weather, great company, fabulous cider and liquor tasting. A truly great day.

Pagan Cider cellar door tasting was educational and full of merriment. The host was fantastic, we enjoyed his commentary and really enjoyed the fabulous cider. It was a great opportunity to stock up on Christmas drinks.

Hartz View Vineyard was a tranquil, delightful stop. We enjoyed listening to the story of the Italians stationed there during WW2 and tasting the specialty wines made on site.
