🌿 Happy Early Childhood Educators’ Day! 🌿

Today we celebrate the incredible people who choose to spend their days alongside our youngest learners.

Early childhood education is so much more than what can be seen from the outside. It’s in the noticing, the listening, the wondering and the waiting. It’s knowing when to step in, when to step back, when to offer a hand, and when a child simply needs someone to sit beside them.

It’s creating spaces where children feel safe enough to explore, brave enough to try, supported enough to make mistakes, and confident that they belong.

At Hackham East Kindergarten, we are incredibly fortunate to have a team of educators who bring their hearts, knowledge, humour, patience, creativity and care to our community every day. They build relationships, celebrate the little things, navigate the tricky moments, advocate fiercely for children, and continually reflect on how we can do things better.

And while today has the word Educator in its name, we also recognise the families who trust us with their children and work alongside us. The relationships between children, families and educators are what make our kindy community what it is.

So today, we celebrate our team — and all of the early childhood educators doing this important, complex and wonderfully human work.

Thank you for slowing down enough to notice.
Thank you for seeing the child behind the behaviour.
Thank you for finding joy in the ordinary moments.
And most importantly, thank you for helping every child know:
