The numbers are in – and this community never ceases to amaze us!

🇦🇺🇺🇦Together with your help, at UkiFest - Ukrainian Festival Sydney 2026 we raised: $5,406.35

🪖 $2,262 for Defend Ukraine Appeal – going directly toward non-lethal military aid for Ukrainian defenders

🔋 $3,144.35 for Future Ukraine – supporting the global campaign Warmth for Ukraine, fundraising for generators to bring warmth, running water, and power to Ukrainians in need.

Their proven resilience, professionalism, and courage embody true heroism in the defense of Ukraine’s sovereignty and freedom.

❄️ From the frontline to freezing apartments, russia is using terror and targeted attacks on residential areas and energy infrastructure. This has left millions without power, heating, and running water.

The Defend Ukraine Appeal acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands that we live on, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

🙏🏻 We give thanks to this country that has welcomed Ukrainians across generations, and to the Australian people and Government for standing with Ukraine.

We recognise that today holds different meanings for many in Australia. While a day of celebration, it is also a day to reflect on this nation’s complex history and the experience of Indigenous Australians.

Whether you’re celebrating or reflecting, we wish you a day of gratitude, unity and hope for the future 💙💛
