It's a big day of workshops at Edendale this Saturday 12 September.

Environmental educator Tim Mitchell is running a free "Introduction to worm farming" workshop at the farm between 2.00 - 3.30pm.

A worm farm is an excellent way to recycle your food scraps at home, producing vermi-juice (worm tea) and vermicast (worm castings) for use on the garden. It's ideal particularly if you don't have a lot of outdoor space!

Learn how to set up your worm farm and to care for these hard-working creatures, including what to feed them (and what not to!).

To register for this workshop, please go to www.edendale.vic.gov.au/Whats-on/Events-calendar/Introduction-to-Worm-Farming
