Our main man has completed his first lap around the sun today. It's been a joyous year with Tallow in our lives, we are forever greatful for having two healthy, happy and vibrant children. This little clip is him trying to figure out his first steps this morning. Happy first birthday Tallow 🌻🌱❤️

What a great morning harvesting with the kids today. The potato treasure hunt was a success, we even got to make friends with loads of earthworms. Teaching kids about permaculture and growing is the best kind of schooling any parent can give. Here's to plenty more fun days in the spring sunshine ☀️

With spring just around the corner we certainly have got our little greenhouse chock a block full of cuttings and seedlings. Some to plant, some to share, some to sell. I see some gaps, I better get propagating.

The next generation of pioneering, nitrogen fixing super stars 🌟 Pigeon Pea and Tagasaste (tree lucerne) are incredible plants to create a fast canopy to support young trees. They produce bulk bio mass through quick successions of chop and drop techniques and every time you chop the tops, they than shed some root mass containing nitrogen fixing nodules into the soil. This feeds the worms, the micro biology and protects the soil surface through instant mulch matter. These babies were inoculated with biocast plus product and are well on there way to a spring plant out. Be sure to put chicken wire rings around your tagasaste though as it's a favourite food of the local wallaby population. You can never have enough Tagasaste or pigeon pea in your life, happy Sunday folks ✌️🌻🌱 @ Diamond Beach
