NT Seniors Voice

NT Seniors Voice Promotes community engagement projects and conversations to Northern Territory stakeholders.

Encourages people - in particular the over 50s - to have their say and help create an age-friendly, just, inclusive and equitable society for all Territorians. NT Seniors Voice publishes conversations and projects of interest to senior Territorians via its online, interactive engagement hub published on its website. NT Seniors Voice is managed by COTA Northern Territory, the peak advocacy body for

seniors in the NT. As part of our advocacy work, we regularly engage with the NT community to find out what their thoughts are about various issues and topics. Our aim is to give voice to seniors and to continue to lobby government, media and NT stakeholders to achieve positive and equitable social change.

LIVING WITH SHOULDER OSTEOARTHRITIS?

Your voice can help improve care.

University of Queensland researchers are conducting a study to explore the experience, views and behaviours of adults with shoulder osteoarthritis. The study aims to better understand their perception of the condition and of physiotherapy as a treatment.

The findings could inform the development of optimised physiotherapy care.

Whether or not you have ever seen a physiotherapist for treatment of your shoulder osteoarthritis, you may be able to take part if you:
• are aged 45 years and older
• have had a diagnosis of shoulder osteoarthritis confirmed by a healthcare professional.

To find out more, scan the QR code or go to the University of Queensland online survey: https://uniofqueensland.syd1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cuqWqmtAsexyC2O?Q_CHL=qr
