Following the International Men’s Day Lunch, a round table—held face-to-face and online—brought Territory men together to call for more support and action. 💪👨‍👦‍👦

Here’s what’s next:
✅ ‘Territory Blokes’ is the new, formalised group designed to keep us on track. Each quarter, discussions will ensure we’re delivering meaningful support for Territory men.
✅ A ‘Territory Blokes’ social media page is now live! It’s the go-to place for all things men-related—info, contact details, updates on events, and activities across the NT.
✅ We’re aiming to secure commitments from key groups (like Man Walk Darwin, NO MORE Campaign, Inpex, Power and Water, Tangentyere, etc.) to each host one activity for men per year. With 40 groups on board, we could have an activity every week! 🎉

Together, we can create a stronger, more connected Territory for all our blokes. Stay tuned for updates! 🙌

Young people gathered at the town pool to brainstorm ideas for the inaugural Youth Conference and Festival of Youth coming to Nhulunbuy in 2025. 💡🎉



Massive shout-out to Cassidy Boja from the Youth Round Table for organising this awesome session and rallying some young blokes on the spot to make sure ideas from across the youth network were included. 🗣️💪



The group came up with some incredible ideas, including investing in activities like inflatables, water slides, and laser tag equipment that can be used for future events in the region. 🎯🎨



We can’t wait to see this event come to life—stay tuned for updates! 🙌✨

Congratulations to the 2024 NT Youth Round Table representatives who presented at Parliament House today.

With inspiring stories about mental health, tyranny of distance, access to services and personal triumphs the message was clear - the future is bright!

The role that Noone Left Behind plays in this is to connect and support. Providing youth voice through conferences and Festival of Youth, advocating and providing support and connecting I.e. young people want mental health access in schools - let's get headspace hubs to the schools and qualified practitioners, campaigns that change the narrative and provide more opportunities for young people to be unskilled and connected to careers that support our communities.

Well done you young legends - can't wait to meet our 2025 Youth Round Table reps.

Been incredible to hear from Matt and Sarah Brown from She is not your rehab! Matt's shared his incredible story about life and Maori culture forcing men to hide with very few safe spaces. He opened his barber shop up offering free counselling and the movement began.

Thank you No More for bringing Natt and Sarah to the Territory. We're on a path to connect men and do more to find a better way to support men. Watch this space.

Awesome to have a good turn out of young people in Katherine to plan the Big Rivers Festival of Youth and Youth Conference coming to the region in May next year.

Key take aways. Split the day for older and younger Youth. Have headline acts to break up the convos and Lobby Bass in the Grass bands to come to Katherine!!!
