City of Belmont, WA have teamed up with Belmont City College, and Cloverdale Primary school, and donated 15 Cockatoo friendly trees that our Environment team will help plant to create a Cocky Corridor between the schools 🖤

This will only be a discussion, no decisions will be made until next Tuesday at the Ordinary Council meeting.

Both meetings are open to the public and held at 215 Wright St, Cloverdale. Doors open at 6.15pm, with the meetings commencing at 6.30pm.

Tonight at Council we will discuss rates. It's a hot topic, so below is a comparison table taken from this months agenda.

Belmont is well know for having quality events and services, but take a look at our proposed rates and waste charges; we know that times are tough so we fight to keep rates low, and the quality of our services high for you.

Come on down to Wilson Park now to see Deaf Netball WA in action, and support their sausage sizzle fundraiser to help them travel interstate.

It's no secret that City of Belmont have the BEST Parks team in WA!

You've probably noticed little upgrades occurring all across Belmont over the last few years, and it is making SUCH a difference to the beauty and street appeal of our suburbs.

The latest works are at Salisbury Rd at the intersection with Acton Ave - this is something I requested last year, and I am so pleased with the results. Works should be complete this week - so take a look over the weekend and let me know what you think.

It had become a dumping ground for glass bottles, empty cans and other waste, and the new plantings have lifted it SO much.
