Something big is coming.

I didn’t build Mummune from a whiteboard or a business plan… I built it from lived experience - doing motherhood mostly solo, juggling kids, work, logistics, and the mental load that never really switches off.

The moments where help technically existed… but wasn’t practical.

You know the drill - the “let me know if you need anything” texts, when what I actually needed was someone to grab the kids or share the load for a minute.

And let me tell you - it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows 😆

It’s been messy. It’s been hard. Some days I’ve wanted to give up 🫠

But I feel it in my bones that this is needed.

Mummune is about making support real.

Shared living. Practical help. Connection. Collaboration.
Not pressure. Not perfection. Just systems that actually work in real life.

T minus ~4 weeks 🚀
The website is almost here…and over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing how this works, who it’s for, and what a modern village can actually look like.

This logo represents something simple - but powerful.

It was born from my own experience of motherhood - and the quiet knowing that it was never meant to be done alone.

It was meant to be shared - homes, routines, support, the mental load.

Co-living isn’t the backup plan.

It’s the village I wished I’d had.

Mummune is a modern co-living community for mums who want support that fits real life - shared living, practical help, connection and collaboration.

We’re on the final leg team…T minus ~4 weeks 🚀 - the Mummune website is almost here - and then… we’re on like Donkey Kong.

You’re not tired because you’re failing.
You’re tired because you’ve been carrying too much - alone.

The mental load.
The decisions.
The responsibility with no off-switch.

Most “support” still assumes a partner, shared finances, and shared parenting.

Single & solo mums don’t fit that model - and that’s not a personal flaw.

It’s a support gap.

Mummune exists to change that.
To rebuild the village with intention, boundaries, and women who get it.

“Let me know if you need anything!”

And look… I’m 100% guilty of saying this too 🙋🏼‍♀️
But let’s be honest - it usually means two things:
1️⃣ They hope you don’t actually ask 😅
2️⃣ They genuinely have no idea what you even need
(…and we don’t even know what we need either 🫠)

Meanwhile, real support sounds more like:
✨ “I’m grabbing your kids - go breathe.”
✨ “I made extra dinner because I knew you wouldn’t.”
✨ “I’ll do school pickup, you go have a shower longer than 48 seconds.”

And mums always comment with things like:
💬 “Even 10 minutes alone feels like a holiday.”
💬 “Why does someone else cutting fruit taste better than my own?!”
💬 “If one mum could just do bedtime for me ONE night, I’d cry with gratitude.”
…because this is what support actually looks like in the real world.

THIS is the kind of village single and solo mums deserve.

Not judgement. Not chaos. Not drama.

Just women who get it, get you, and aren’t scared of a little cereal-for-dinner energy. 🥣😂

We’ve learned to protect our peace…
To hold it all together - quietly, fiercely - even when it hurts.

So the idea of letting someone in again?
It’s beautiful… and terrifying.

But what if it didn’t have to mean chaos?
What if it meant calm, laughter, and true support?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not about escaping motherhood - it’s about sharing the load.

Today I got some quiet minutes to just sit, breathe, and feel the sun while another mum swam with the kids. Five minutes that felt like an hour.

This is what the village is for - not just to help in emergencies, but to create space for each other’s peace. To say “I’ve got them, you rest.” To remind us that rest is not a reward, it’s a right.

We weren’t meant to do this all alone. When one mum steps in, we all rise higher.
