Join VS members and supporters from across the Northern Metro region to knock on doors in Preston and Thomastown this Sunday 13th September, meeting 11am at the JC Donath Reserve in Reservoir. Registration via the event page on our website (link in comments).

We'll hear from our local candidates and coordinators before we break into door knocking groups. You are encouraged to come by car, if possible, so we can reach all areas of the electorate.

Through conversations on doorsteps we want to share our vision for society and convince people to vote socialist, meet more volunteers for the campaign, get yard signs up across the city and find out what issues matter to the people we’re talking to.

If you’re new to doorknocking, don’t worry! You will be paired up with an experienced volunteer who can show you the ropes and you will be provided with some useful talking points.

We will be reconvening in the park afterwards to debrief our stories from the day over pizza and drinks!

In a wealthy country like Australia, no one should have to struggle just to keep a roof over their head or food on the table. Yet for increasing numbers of Victorians, that's a daily reality.
