Becoming aware of Grooming behaviours.
The purpose in writing this book is to help protect children from sexual predators, whilst shedding light on the modus operandi of the offender.
The second purpose is to make people aware of the people that ingratiate themselves to key people in our communities and families to gain friendships, trust and authority, with their end goal being to gain access to a vulnerable child.
Thirdly, to bring an awareness to the reader that a child may be caught in a “Web of Deceit” (under the control) of the Predator. The behaviours are obvious once you know what you are looking for.
Lastly, I focus on how to keep our homes and communities safe from the “grooming” of the predator. I do this by telling my story, as a Mum with four sons, who were targeted by a Pa******le.
I use the skills I learned to protect my children to get free from the webs he weaved around us. I have packaged these skills within my story, so as not to overwhelm the reader with endless clinical methods and instructions.
Within “Webs of Deceit,” I use the wide end of the lens, focusing on those in our homes and in our social networks that have hidden agendas. The last chapters are focused on Internet Predators, child traffickers. My focus is on the child that is in full sight of us all; and yet, someone else is watching them and may already control them. Likewise I shine a light on the signs to look for in the child and also in the person you may have invested your trust in.
