💛 R U OK? 💛

Everyday, we care for animals that rely on us.

We notice when they’re not themselves.
We make sure they’re fed, safe and comfortable.
We give them patience and a little extra love when they need it.

And we should be doing the same for each other.

R U OK Day is a reminder to check in with the people around you - but caring for the people in our lives shouldn’t be something we do just once a year.

If you notice when someone seems a little quieter than usual, ask how they’re really going. Give them the space to talk. Be there, even if you don’t have the right words.

Because sometimes, just like the animals in our care, people don’t always have the words to tell us when something isn’t right.

From all of us here at CKC - Look out for each other. Check in. Listen. Care. 💛
