Meet Makayla -

Makayla is one of our amazing all rounders and wildlife keepers! 🐾💚

From behind-the-scenes keeper duties to creating magical moments with our visitors. Makayla brings passion, energy and a whole lot of heart to every part of her role!

Fun Fact - Makayla has handled the world’s 4th most venomous snake - The Eastern Brown 🐍 (during a venomous handling course), Crikey!!!!!!

Her favourite CKC animal is Mojo - Stumpy is a Pygmy spiny tailed skink

What started as a memorable koala photo experience turned into a life-changing moment when this wonderful couple got engaged right here at Cairns Koalas & Creatures.
