A snapshot of the final week of Term 2 ✨

A reminder that Wednesday is a pupil free day due to Parent Teacher Interviews.

We look forward to welcoming parents and carers into classrooms on Thursday afternoon for our Whole School End of Term Expo, where students will proudly showcase their learning from across the term.

Our Whole School Assembly will take place on Friday at 1:30pm, with students finishing at 2:30pm.

We can’t wait to celebrate a wonderful term of learning and achievements with our community! 🌟

Concentric Circles by 3/4 students 🎨

Our Grade 3/4 students have been exploring the artwork of Wassily Kandinsky, focusing on his iconic concentric circles. Students used a range of skills including painting, collage and textiles to create their own unique interpretations, experimenting with colour, pattern and texture. 🔴🔵

❤️🤍 It was a sea of red and white today!

Our Free Dress Day, organised by our Junior School Council, raised money for the Australian Red Cross. A huge thank you to our students and families for their donations and for showing such wonderful community spirit. ❤️🤍

Here comes Week 9!

🌱🏆 Yesterday, five members of our Grade 6 Environmental Pillar attended the 2026 ResourceSmart Schools Awards at the MCG, where our school was nominated for Student Action Team of the Year.

Our students proudly represented our school, sharing the incredible sustainability initiatives taking place through our Outdoor Learning program. From caring for animals and plants to leading environmental projects, they showcased the many ways our students make a positive impact each week.

The team also enjoyed exploring other schools’ displays, learning about innovative sustainability projects including recycled plastic creations, beekeeping and habitat restoration.

We are incredibly proud of our students for representing our school with such passion and enthusiasm. 💚🌿

Thank you Balwyn High School for hosting our Grade 6 students this morning. We loved catching up with and hearing from our former students, and it was incredibly valuable for our students to gain a glimpse into high school life. We appreciate the opportunity to support their transition to secondary school in such a meaningful way.

Growing calm minds 🌿

Today in our Care, Learn and Share groups, students explored how mindfulness and wellbeing can help us feel calm, happy and ready to learn.

Each group created a Calm Classroom Tree, with every student adding a leaf to share something that helps them feel calm and relaxed. From spending time with family and friends to reading, sport and being outdoors, our trees are filled with wonderful reminders of the positive strategies we can use to support our wellbeing.
