Bribie Toastmasters Club is conducting a Speechcraft Course commencing on Tuesday 19th February 2013, at 7pm.
The Course is being held at St. Peters Church Hall at 8 Banya Street Bongaree.

Why should you take part in this course?

Because you will learn how to conquer your fear of speaking in public. You will be with others doing the same thing.

The speechcraft course is an introduction to Toastmasters and is just so interesting and so much fun. - No pressure.

This may just be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Become a better listener, a better speaker and a better leader.

If you are interested or have any questions, please contact the Club's Vice President for Public Relations, Mr. John Knox by phone on 54975856 or by email at [email protected]

We look forward to seeing you at the Course.

We're not a rowdy bunch, but we still know how to have fun. What a lovely Christmas Meeting we had last night. Kudos to the Two Sisters who catered our supper. It was wonderful. And many thanks to the ladies and gentlemen who set it all up, organized the night, and cleaned up afterwards. Have a wonderful Christmas Bribie Toastmasters...and a safe and Happy New Year. See you all in 2013

How exciting!!!! Area Competition today at Glasshouse. Wishing our contestants Ken Waterfield and Rosine Evans the very best for the comp today. Summer time theme at the competition. Hmmm. Makes me think of heat and flies. How things change when you get older!! It used to make me think of beach, swimming and tanning!!

If you couldn't make it to our meeting on Tuesday night, you missed out on four delightful speeches.

Thomas Miller presented his ‘ice-breaker’ speech and took members on a journey from his days as an apprentice jockey, when he rode eleven winners, through to his desire to join a Toastmasters Club.

Cheryl Condon delivered a very nostalgic speech titled “Windorah”. Cheryl spoke of a return journey with her husband as they returned to Windorah and rediscovered many places from yesteryear.

Greg Rollason delivered a powerful speech espousing the life styles and collective power of Grey Nomads in a speech titled “The Grey Revolution”

Maureen Ingamells then took members on a safari through Cape York as she recanted her experiences following a recent camping trip through that area of Australia. Maureen’s speech was titled “I’m sold on Travel”.

You don't need to miss out on hearing wonderful speeches, given by beginners, intermediate and advanced speakers. Just turn up to one of our meetings, the first and third Tuesday of every month. We'd love to see you there.
