8 years ago today we launched via a Kickstarter campaign. It had taken 18 months to source all the rare materials, but would anyone be interested in a 100% natural, plastic-free, spandex-free, botanically circular bra? It felt like jumping into the unknown.

Incredibly, we reached our goal in 48 hours. It turned out many of you did want this.

Incredibly, we are still here and growing, through wars and global pandemics and economic crises.

Humbled and grateful.

While everyone else is posting pledges today, we’ll just post the facts.

No spandex. No polyester. No plastic, in the product or the packaging. No “working toward it.” Just TENCEL, organic cotton, and 34 proper sizes, from day one.

We didn’t build TVGB to be sustainable eventually. We built it to be the standard from day one.
